Non prendere impegni per domenica 18 ottobre è un dovere. I motivi? ‘FAIMARATHON’, il gioco del Lotto e una giornata FAI d’autunno alla scoperta di un’Italia diversa. Partecipare alle giornate del FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano – è una ‘benedizione’ culturale a cui non si può mancare, per via del patrimonio artistico-culturale che si può di visitare e che è normalmente poco conosciuto o – peggio ancora – chiuso al pubblico. Oltre 500 i luoghi, per 130 città italiane e 3500 volontari, offerti ai visitatori.
La manifestazione FAIMARATHON – per la prima volta curata dai giovani del FAI – è ormai giunta al suo quarto appuntamento e si fa promotrice della conoscenza di piccoli e grandi tesori del nostro paese. Un paese immenso in tutta la sua bellezza, che può dignitosamente rivivere anche grazie a queste iniziative che restituiscono ai nostri occhi un patrimonio di cui siamo eredi – talvolta inconsapevoli – e una grandezza culturale che calpestiamo quotidianamente.
Lo scorso anno hanno partecipato oltre 39.000 persone. contribuendo a un evento che permette di valorizzare un patrimonio d’arte e natura unico nel suo genere. La sfida per il 2015 è di superare la soglia del precedente anno, per concedere ad ognuno di noi l’occasione di immergersi in luoghi che profumano di secoli di Storia.
