Hello guys,
Anglesey island and Bangor are complete. That doesn’t mean it was easy, not at all. There were a few moments when I thought “why am I here?”. But I suppose it’s normal at the beginning of a long journey…the body has to get to use it.

Holyhead beach
I left Dublin on the 14th with the 8.45 a.m. ferry and I arrived in Holyhead at 11. At the port in Wales I had just the time to understand where I was, and I started to hike. I admit it was really tough. I walked for 26 km, mainly on tarmac. And I did not even have time for sightseeing. It was like a race, with the only goal to reach my first stop before the sunset. When I arrived, around 7 pm, I was so wiped out that i couldn’t recognize myself, I felt like a ghost. I then slept for 11 hours but the pain didn´t fully disappear. The second day was a little bit easier and I started earlier so I could have had more time to enjoy.

Snowdonia
But let’s think positive, it has been 2 days that the weather is great, warm and sunny during the day and cool at night time, and it has never rained. Hiking along the island was nice, green hills, sheep, horses and cows; the only thing that was missing was a nice path to avoid walking on the main road. But so far the weirdest thing is how people look at me, they are happy and surprised to see somebody crossing their island on foot.
