Anche il motorino diventa eco friendly. Dall’Olanda arriva il primo scooter dal corpo vegetale. Si chiama Be.e ed è un prototipo di motorino elettrico che oltre a non inquinare, ha una carrozzeria realizzata in bioresina rinforzata da fibre di lino e canapa.
Il progetto è dei due designer dell’agenzia Waarmakers, Maarten Heijltjes e Simon Akkaya, in collaborazione con l’Inholland University of Applied Sciences e la società Npsp Composites. Sviluppato e testato ad Amsterdam, lo scooter più ecosostenibile mai costruito prima, ha un telaio in monoscocca costruito con un unico elemento monolitico che sosteniene le parti meccaniche e svolge la funzione di carrozzeria. Le parti in acciaio sono state sostituite da fibre naturali, senza perdere in forza e prestazioni.
Be.e dall’aspetto un po’ vintage, con la sella in cuoio , il manubrio artigianale e un grande faro anteriore, è molto più leggero degli scooter in commercio, pesa infatti circa 95 chili e più raggiungere i 55 Km/h grazie al motore elettrico di 4 Kw. La batteria si ricarica in meno di quattro ore e garantisce un’autonomia da 55 a 80 km a seconda della velocità che si tiene. Infine è dotato di un caricabatterie da 600 watt che offre 20 km di autonomia per ogni ora trascorsa in carica
Gli amanti della mobilità sostenibile potranno noleggiare il mezzo tramite il sito internet di Van.Eko, a partire dal 2014. Be.e non verrà mai messo in vendita ma potrà essere solo ceduto con formula di noleggio a lungo termine. La tariffa dipenderà dal chilometraggio percorso mensilmente. Per esempio entro i 300 km il costo sarà di 140 euro.
